Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract
Grown mainly in Madagascar and Indonesia, the Bourbon Islands off the coast of Africa supply more than 60% of the world's vanilla. Nielsen-Massey uses an exclusive cold process method to extract the essence from the vanilla beans, or pods, the only edible fruit-bearing orchid in the world. Madagascar pure vanilla extract has a creamy, sweet, velvety flavor that is the preferred choice of pastry chefs and bakers due to its fine flavor and consistency.
